Would like to know how to operate your mirrorless or DSLR camera better?  Well Alpine Image Works will be hosting Life Beyond Auto Photography Workshop just for you.  This summer’s workshop emphasizes on becoming a better technician as well as learning the foundation for crafting your creative vision.  The location of the workshop is the North Park Yurts near Walden, Colorado.  The dates for this class are July 20, 21, 2019.  Because of the location we highly encourage the attendees to arrive Friday evening, July 19.  Two nights of lodging at the yurts (July 19, 20), breakfasts and dinners (July 20, 21) are included.  The following link will help you gain an appreciation of the location of the North Park Yurts and what they have to offer https://www.neversummernordic.com/northparkyurts .

A basic overview of the workshop is as follows:  how mirrorless and DSLR cameras work, different sensor sizes, basic exposure theory, metering, histograms, camera modes, and white balance will also be covered on the first morning.  That afternoon we will be out in the field putting your new found skills together in the fresh North Park air.  At the end of the day we will grill and socialize.  As night falls, we will have a short night photography lesson under a starry summer sky.  After breakfast the following morning there will be an equipment lab held on the deck of the yurt.  Afterwards the focus of the day is an introduction to crafting your creative vision, which like the day before entails field work that afternoon to combine both the technical and aesthetic side of photography.  At the conclusion the workshop participants will have a much better understanding of capturing images with their camera.  Workshop tuition is $395, and is limited to six participants.  All participants must be willing to share a yurt with their fellow workshop attendees.  If you are interested in attending feel free to email at bo@alpineimageworks.com .
